Dr. Amit Gir began his career with a background biomedical engineering with Merck, where his passion for improving healthcare first blossomed. After earning his medical degree and board-certification in internal medicine, he worked as an inpatient physician with Kaiser Permanente in Riverside, CA. His dedication and commitment to providing exceptional care, passion for technology, and efforts to change how care was delivered led him to co-found Phox Health, where he now serves as the CEO.
Kelly Picard has been in the delivery business since 1994, and in her current role, as CEO, is responsible for strategy, leadership, growth and management of the company. She has been in the delivery business since 1994, holding a variety of leadership positions, including VP of Sales & COO. In her current role, as CEO, she is responsible for strategy, leadership, growth and management of the company.
In her time with Hackbarth she helped grow the business from 4 locations to 40 and has been active in industry trade groups for the past 30 years, having served on the Board of the Customized Logistics and Delivery Association from 2014-2024.
Picard received her MBA from The Ohio State University with a concentration in leadership and a BA in political Science from LSU.
In addition to industry organizations, Kelly is active in local charitable and community organizations, serving on several boards and as a volunteer. Her hobbies include fishing, playing tennis and coaching her daughters’ volleyball teams. She and her husband Larry Picard have six children and live in Mobile, AL.
John has over 34 years of logistics and transportation experience, both in the Private and Public sectors. John has senior management experience with multiple airlines, 3PL and retail warehouse/distribution operations, along with extensive knowledge in Air, Ground and Pharmaceutical logistics. In November 1999, John founded MANKO Delivery Systems Inc. John sold MANKO in January of 2014 after 14 successful years. In 2019 John started JTB Logistics, LLC working with small and medium sized businesses to help them prepare for profitable, controlled & sustainable growth. He currently serves as Vice President of Administrative Strategies at ADL Final Mile.<br><br>John has been very successful over his entire career in building strong and efficient operating teams in fast paced growth environments. John has proven leadership abilities in delivering innovative logistics solutions and consistent best in class service.
Jason Burns is a native of New Orleans and a passionate business leader in the final mile transportation industry. He is a 2006 graduate of Vanderbilt University where he was a SEC Academic Honor Roll student-athlete in football and selected as the recipient of the Head Coach’s Dedication Award.
After beginning his professional career in the parking industry, Jason returned to his hometown to assume a leadership role in his family’s business enterprises, including Burns Management Group (BMG), Global Parking Systems (GPS), and QCS Logistics (formerly Quick Courier Services, Inc). As a second-generation owner and President of QCS, Mr. Burns led the company’s resurgence by developing new service offerings, implementing a new technology platform, and expanding operations into new markets. These initiatives resulted in record growth and QCS was selected to the Inc. 5000 list as one of America’s fastest growing companies for four consecutive years. QCS was also recognized as a Top 100 Icon of Industry by ICIC (Initiative for a Competitive Inner City) in 2014. In 2020, QCS was acquired by Dropoff Inc, a national same-day delivery company headquartered in Austin, Tx. with operations in over 25 states. In this new role, he served as Dropoff’s Director of Corporate Development, leading the company's M&A efforts. In 2022, Dropoff was ranked #2,607 on the annual Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. He recently transitioned into the commercial insurance industry joining CUI Agency, focusing on bringing transportation literacy to owners who are challenged with finding solutions to the increasing cost of insurance.
In 2022, Jason was elected as the first African-American President of the Customized Logistics and Delivery Association (CLDA), the nation's leading association for the final mile delivery industry since 1987. He now serves as the Immediate Past President. When he's not on the clock, you can find Jason spending time with his pride and joy; 10-year-old twins Jason Jr. (JJ) and Jordyn (JoJo). He coaches their flag football teams and is one of the loudest dads cheering from the sidelines.
